G'day, today I'm sharing with you a couple of cards that I've made using the Stampin Up Petal Palette stamp set and coordinating dies.
I decided to just colour and die cut a bunch of the flowers and see where it led me.
I ended up with 2 cards as shown below... I figure they'd both be good for mother's day or any love occasion really.
One of the cards is portrait and one is landscape. On the portrait (red) one, I used a couple of the left over sequin hearts from the freebie mentioned in my previous post. To fill up some of the gaps in the landscape (pink) card, I used some black enamel dots from my stash. Simple but effective.
Thanks for dropping by, I hope you have a great day/night!

2018 Valentines Day Card
G'day everyone, today I'm sharing with you a Valentines Day card that I made this week (even though Valentines Day has passed, there's always next year).
I was stash diving and found a free little love themed kit that I got possibly from Blue Edge Crafts, but I'm not sure as I think I might have had this freebie for a while.
Anyway, it contained a square card, an envelope for it, a bunch of sequin-like hearts, 2 larger hearts, a white tag and some white ribbon edged in silver.
At first, when I laid my hands on it I almost shoved it back into the random box I was looking through. Then I thought; "I should just use it instead of hoarding it..." and so I did :o) lol.
In the same box I found a bunch of junk and also four 6x6 paper pads.... I had been wondering where they went!
One of them was the Die Cuts With a View pad called The Foiled Elegance Stack which contains 24 sheets of 6x6 inch acid free foiled cardstock. Perfect!
There was a red foiled piece that matched the hearts in the freebie pack really well and viola! my creativity was sparked and a card was created. I hope you like it.
Cheers for stopping by, I hope you have a great day/night.

#fancyfolds - Stampers Art Gallery - Mother's Day card 2018
Hi there,
I've entered this card in the #fancyfolds competition at Stampers Art Gallery on facebook. It's a wonderful group that I found via YouTube.
This card uses some Prima Marketing papers from a collection by Frank Garcia called Wild and Free. I fussy cut all the flowers etc from the papers and used tracing paper to trace the parts of the card so that I could put layers on there.
Thanks for stopping by, sorry I've been so absent. I think from now on I'll just write something short and post pics, otherwise nothing ever gets posted.
Have a great day/night!
